Wow, can you believe the change in weather this week! Summer weather has arrived. Since our brains are beginning to think about summer this week we wrote about why summer is great. First we brainstormed a list of things that the class thought made summer great. We filled the whole black board with our list.
Then after our brainstorming we wrote what we thought onto a flip flop. They are so cute hanging in the hallway.
This week we also had a lot of end of year business to attend to. The students were assessed on their math facts. Which they did AWESOME on!!! I'm so proud of how hard they have worked on the addition and subtractions facts this year. The students also took a reading assessment this week.
We have continued to read 'Charlotte's Web' the students are enjoying this wonderful story. Yesterday we learned that a spider has seven parts to its leg. Ask your child perhaps they will remember them.
