One week to go, can you believe it!!! The students were a bit sad about Fun/Field Day being rescheduled for Monday. We had to think quickly on our toes to come up with some activities for the day. We review math skills on our slates this morning. The students worked on the plays that they are going to do for the other 2nd grade next week. This afternoon we are going to watch a movie.
The kids are really enjoying reading 'Charlotte's Web'. They can't wait to get to they end. We should finish it up early next week. To end the year we've been working on some plays, the students have made their own scenery and props, they are coming along nicely.
Today I will be sending home the t-shirts for fun/field day on Monday. Please make sure that your child wears this shirt on Monday. If your child is on the red team for the field events they can wear red socks or girls can wear head hair bands.
