The students did a fabulous job at the winter concert!! They were so excited about their songs and we had fun practicing in class too. You can tell that the Holiday's are quickly approaching the kids seem more excited everyday and it seems to be all they want to talk about. We worked very hard this week on the following:
- We had lessons this week about nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. We made Gingerbread men and wrote adjectives on them.
- In math our lessons had to do with shapes, line segments, parallel lines, polygons, and quadrangles. We will finish unit 5 up next week, and the assessment will be on Thursday. We don't want to leave it until after the long break.
- We finished up the Balance and Motion unit and we will begin Solid, Liquids, and Gasses after the break. Next week we will do lessons on winter holidays and Christmas around the world.
- Don't forget that we need pictures for our community project. They can be mailed to me or Mrs. Selby.
