- We have done a lot of writing this. We wrote about what we would do is Santa was stuck in the chimney. We also learned about writing a friendly letter. We used a fun power point to learn the different parts of a letter then traced our hands and wrote the five parts on our hand prints to keep in our writing folders as a reminder. As a follow up read How the Grinch Stole Christmas and then wrote letters to the Grinch explaining to him why he should like Christmas.
- During Literacy we have worked on determining importance. We read a big book which is written by a child and is an essay about the sun. We are using this book to determine the important facts and what the big idea is.
- Look for a note coming home about a Community Project that we will need your help with.
