Happy Memorial Day

Wow, the unofficial start of summer is here, I never thought we would get here with the winter we had.  In honor of Memorial Day we read a very powerful book called "The Wall", it really translate the message of honoring our fallen soldier well.  We also made these cut books about Memorial Day.

 We started reading one of my favorite books this week Charlotte's Web. It is a great story.  We will be reading this book for the next several weeks.  After we read a chapter the children write a response in a journal and complete an additional question sheet with the book.  

We finished up our last unit in Math this week.  I finished grading their test today.  I'll send them home on Monday to get signed.  Please return them.  We will spend some time reviewing the each unit for the next several weeks.
