Pet Sitting!!

This week was a review of our unit 1 in Wonders.  Students worked with a partner to make a pet sitting brochure.  On Tuesday we researched in the computer lab.  Students had to pick 2 animals and find information about how to care for those animals.  They used this information in their brochure.  The worked really well together and the results are really cute.  Here is a picture.

We worked on a really fun writing activity this week.  Students had to write clues about themselves.  We made a ghost and put a picture underneath the ghost of themself.  They loved guessing who each ghost was.  If you are in the school take a look at them they are displayed in the upstairs hallway.

In math we worked all week on word problems.  These were not easy and we will continue to work with word problems more as the year continues.

We had a blast in Science making zoomers.  Ask your child what a zoomer is.
