I want to thank your chaperone's for accompaning us on the trip to the zoo. The weather was fantastic and the kids had a blast. We enjoyed a quick lesson from a zoo staffer about some of the endangered animals and why they are endangered. Here are a few pictures from our trip.
Our essential question this week is 'How do we use money?', this was a great follow up to our social studies. We read about how money is made and why some people collect money. In our little groups we read about being a smart shopper.
We have started to read the classic novel "Charlotte's Web" along with the story Mrs. Wells is having the student complete some fun STEM activites. Today they had a pile of material in which they had to work together in a group to make a pen for Wilbur. Here are a few pictures.
