After today only 4 days remain in this school year! I can't believe how quickly this year has gone. I have truely enjoyed each and every minute with this class. This is a wonderful group of kids!!! As you can imagine we are finishing up all our loose ends.
We have spent a lot of time this week reading Charlotte's Web! The kids love this story and we have been working on activites after each chapter. Mrs. Wells has worked a study on spiders into our Science to go along with the book. We plan to finish and watch the movie on the last day next week.
Today we finished up our data unit in math. Next week our last few lessons will be with geometery. I'll still be sending math homework till the end.
In Social Studies we are working as town planners. In groups we are deciding on how to fix a street in a community. Groups have to decide if they should tear buildings down or fix them up. Once they make that decision they are to decided what the building will be. We are doing this to see how towns take old run down areas and make them new again.
Field Day is today and I'm sure we will all be tired tonight!! Have a great SUMMER!
